COVID-19 - service update

How to book a face to face physiotherapy appointment and what to expect.

Your health and wellbeing is our number one priority. We are following government advice on social distancing and maintaining strict hygiene practices to keep you safe during your physiotherapy and hydrotherapy appointments.

Safety is our priority

For your safety and that of our staff, we are following guidelines issued by the government and our professional bodies.

Due to social distancing guidelines, we are currently unable to offer group classes, but these are available virtually.

Patient assessment

When you book an appointment, we will email you a COVID consent form which must be completed before you attend. The purpose of the form is to:

  • identify any risk factors that may make you more vulnerable to COVID-19
  • inform you of the measures in place to keep you safe
  • get your consent for face-to-face treatment.

If face-to-face treatment isn’t suitable for you, we may recommend a virtual physiotherapy session via telephone or a video hosting platform.

What to do now

If you would like to make an appointment or find out if treatment is suitable for you, please call our reception team on 01428 647647.
