How to book a face to face physiotherapy appointment and what to expect.
Your health and wellbeing is our number one priority. We are following government advice on social distancing and maintaining strict hygiene practices to keep you safe during your physiotherapy and hydrotherapy appointments.
Safety is our priority
For your safety and that of our staff, we are following guidelines issued by the government and our professional bodies.
Due to social distancing guidelines, we are currently unable to offer group classes, but these are available virtually.
Before you can attend for face to face treatment, guidance from our professional body requires that each patient completes a triage telephone assessment. This only takes 10-15 minutes and is free of charge. This is so we can assess your personal risks associated with attending before booking you in to attend in person.
Other treatment options
Face to face treatment isn’t suitable for everyone, which is why we also offer virtual physiotherapy sessions via telephone or video hosting platforms.
What to do now
If you would like to make an appointment or find out if treatment is suitable for you, please call our reception team on 01428 647647.
What to do if you have an appointment but feel unwell
Please do not attend a session if you think you may have any of the COVID-19 symptoms – these are a:
- loss of smell and/or taste
- high temperature (you feel hot to touch on your chest or back or have a temperature in excess of 37.8C),
- new continuous dry cough.
If you, or a member of your household have any symptoms, please cancel your session, remain at home and follow the advice on booking a test.
You will also not be able to attend if you have been told to self-isolate by NHS Track and Trace or if you are in a quarantine period having returned from abroad.
