Join our Pilates course to help tackle back pain and to build your body strength, flexibility and stability.
Our next course of Pilates will begin on Monday 11 July. The six-week long course will give you time to progress through a series of Pilates exercises in a fun and friendly environment.
Pilates is a mat-work based exercise class which focuses on the key principles of strength, flexibility, stability, body awareness and core strengthening.
It is suitable for all ages and abilities and can be particularly beneficial for those with a history of back pain and for people looking to improve their strength, flexibility and function.
The class is taken by chartered physiotherapist Mel Wilks. She was trained by the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute and is qualified to modify the exercises to suit your needs.
Anybody wishing to take part in the course will be required to have a 30-minute one-to-one session with a physiotherapist, which is £20.
The six-week course costs 53.40 and takes place on Mondays from 9.30am to 10.30am.
