Holy Cross Hospital cheers the Tour of Britain

Riders in the UK’s biggest professional cycle race will receive a warm welcome from The Physiotherapy Centre at Holy Cross Hospital on Saturday 13 September.

Cyclists taking part in the Tour of Britain will be around 20 miles into their 140-mile ride when they pass close to the bottom of the Hospital’s driveway. Averaging at a speed of 42kmph, the competitors will be greeted by a banner and an eye-catching decorated bicycle.

Karen Ford, physiotherapist says: “In their pursuit of the much coveted leaders’ yellow jersey, the riders will endure some challenging terrain in the Surrey and West Sussex countryside before arriving in Brighton at around 4pm. We wish them luck and an injury-free ride.”

Full details about the route and information about stage seven of this eight-stage race can be found on the Tour of Britain website.
